Cover, feature spread, art, and layout for Science Magazine. Created for an article called “Striving to Connect” which is about research on loneliness. It was found that many people intentionally isolate themselves. My design represents this with canaries and birdcages. The door is open with the chance to escape isolation but they choose to be alone. The canaries in the tree are on separate branches, further displaying this concept.
